We work to improve access to healthcare services and tackle HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Sickle Cell Disease, Malaria, Mental health and well-being, as well as access to Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities, promoting the overall health and well-being of the vulnerable and marginalized groups in across communities.
We empower communities through grassroots coalitions to monitor and report data to hold the government accountable and reduce corruption while improving public service.
the media and journalism component of our work seeks to strengthen investigative and provide data-driven journalism in Benue in alignment with global acceptable standards to reinforce the role played by independent media and individuals in revealing and documenting corruption. This approach seeks to support the fight against corruption and generate widespread demand for transparency and accountability. M4D shall use local languages and strategies to galvanize community action and advance a policy agenda that institutionalizes anti-corruption and accountability policies, practices, programs, and approaches that will continue to prevent and reduce corruption in the future
we seek to strengthen the criminal justice system in ways that will combat corruption at all levels and improve government effectiveness and improve the prison system with a special focus on the welfare of inmates while also addressing recidivism, we support organizations that strengthen the legal environment through the implementation of the 2015 ACJA nationally and in Benue State.
We support quality education initiatives through annual scholarship scheme, Legislative Scholarship Scheme for Constituents and vocational training programs, ensuring that young people have the tools to secure sustainable livelihoods and contribute to community development. Also, through our peace education, we shall equip communities with the relevant knowledge and skills set to address their unique challenges and opportunities.
We advocate for and implement sustainable environmental practices to protect natural resources and biodiversity, mitigate climate change, and enhance community resilience and agricultural production in rural communities.
We promote gender equality and social inclusion by addressing barriers that limit opportunities for marginalized and vulnerable groups including women’s, Persons with Disability (PWD), ensuring their active participation in community and social development.
where insurgencies, floods, conflicts and emergencies have occurred, we shall intervene and make giant strides in the effort to strengthen systems and bring relief to community members.
we seek to enhance the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Faith Based Organizations (FBOs) in Benue State toward greater sustainability, operational and development effectiveness.
