BenueAID is a not-for-profit Indigenous grantmaking and capacity-strengthening organization established in 2024. It is an organization led by Benue citizens with a mandate to support local non-profit organizations with funding to improve the well-being and resilience of communities by linking people to sustainable solutions and opportunities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

BenueAID brings a pioneering and disruptive approach to development in Benue State.

We seek to create a more equitable and prosperous future for all in Benue State by promoting partnerships with other institutions and/or donor organizations aimed at building sustainable communities and providing innovative solutions to socioeconomic and environmental challenges.

The organization’s operational headquarters is based in Benue State Nigeria, with partnership across the federation.

1. Empower Benue people with access to the resources and support needed to achieve their full potential.


2. Facilitate comprehensive support to non-for-profit organizations to enhance their capabilities to effectively address community needs and drive socio-economic progress in various sectors.


3. Promote the implementation of social impact initiatives focusing on health and well-being, good governance, education, environmental sustainability, gender equality, food security, criminal justice and humanitarian aid, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


4. Prioritize outreach to women, children, and vulnerable populations, ensuring inclusivity and equitable access to services and opportunities.
